2005 - EDS - Automated PL/1 Modernization

 

"EDS Selects TSRI to Develop an Automated PL/1 Modernization Capability"
Kirkland, WA. (September 19, 2005) – Electronic Data Systems (EDS) has awarded The Software Revolution, Inc. (TSRI) a contract to expand the automated capabilities of TSRI’s JANUS Studio®     to encompass the automated modernization of the PL/1 language. The effort will focus on the modification of JANUS Studio®      to create the necessary PL/1 gateway and on the ability to lift PL/1 into the toolset’s Intermediate Object Model (IOM). Once that is accomplished, TSRI in concert with EDS will modernize a legacy PL/1 system of EDS’ choosing.
